Message From The Chairman
With a beautiful horticulture garden housing perennial, annual, and seasonal plants, along with one of the best nurseries in India, the Daffodil Multipurpose Educational Trust has played a distinguished role in enhancing the economic conditions of the tribal population of greater Khetri area since its inception.
The Trust has been imparting vocational (Skill Development) training on horticulture and nursery management for entrepreneurship development amongst the youngsters. It also accommodates students of Assam Agricultural University under RHWEP and Internship programs from various universities.
The courses offered at Daffodil College of Horticulture and Daffodil College of Agriculture & Technology promise exciting and rewarding opportunities that ensure positive job avenues in various fields. Already, 50% of our 4th-year students in Horticulture have been recruited through an on-campus interview..
At Daffodil, we are emphasizing primarily on quality education and learning in a unique natural environment. We also lay stress on high-tech practical works in the new areas of agriculture, horticulture, value addition, and processing technologies.
We have a vision to deliver nationally and globally relevant curriculum maintaining a personalized learning environment with a student-centered approach, taking the guidelines of Fifth Deans Committee recommendations of ICAR as the basis and under the guidance of Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati. I am confident that the Daffodil College of Horticulture and Daffodil College of Agriculture & Technology with excellent faculties, will fulfill aspirations of students and succeed in attaining goal of producing market ready manpower.
