Empowering Future Farmers: Inauguration of the Horticulture Information Center at Mayong

At Daffodil Horticulture College, we believe in empowering students through real-world agricultural experiences. On November 28, 2024, we proudly inaugurated the Horticulture Information Centre at Mayong Anchalik College. This initiative, launched in collaboration with the Morigaon Agricultural Science Center, offers students practical exposure to modern farming techniques.

During the event, nine enthusiastic students showcased models on integrated farming systems, multi-layer cropping, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable agricultural practices. The centre, part of the Rural Horticulture Work Experience Program (RHWEP), will remain open till November to benefit local farmers and the community. Through such initiatives, Daffodil Horticulture College continues to foster agricultural innovation and knowledge-sharing.
